Dr. Hadi Keramati
Dr. Hadi Keramati earned his Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, specializing in generative design using multi-agent reinforcement learning. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of AI/ML, physics, and quantitative finance, his work has spanned a diverse range of research and industry applications—from developing scalable 3D design pipelines and commercializing innovative physics AI solutions to applying advanced machine learning techniques in quantitative finance. Currently, he is pioneering a generative 3D design toolkit by fine-tuning diffusion models with reinforcement learning.

Prof. Feridun Hamdullahpur
Prof. Feridun Hamdullahpur has over 40 years of research experience in thermo-fluids and energy engineering. As the sixth president of the University of Waterloo for over a decade where he made significant impact on innovation, entrepreneurship in Canada. Named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2018, he has published hundreds of scientific and academic publications and supervised over 50 graduate students. He has held various academic and administrative roles, including vice-president academic and provost at the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Morteza Sadeghi
Dr. Morteza Sadeghi earned his Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, focusing on the intersection of physical sciences and advanced computational methods. As a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich and TU Darmstadt, he specialized in applying machine learning techniques to solve complex problems in fluid dynamics and thermodynamic systems. Since 2023, he has been a research scientist at the Magnative AI Lab, where he applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive innovation and uncover valuable insights in the physical sciences.
